How it all began

Hi, I'm Maria! My cleaning journey started long before I ever imagined turning it into a business.

I grew up in a household of eight, where keeping things clean and organized was a team effort. By age six, I had a rotating weekly chore—sweeping, vacuuming, folding laundry, or whatever else needed to get done. I certainly didn't realize those early responsibilities would eventually lead me here!

During college, I worked part-time cleaning homes and businesses. I discovered how much I enjoyed getting into a rhythm while cleaning—and the satisfaction of seeing a space transform.

Years later, a close family member was diagnosed with cancer. Their medical team recommended an extensive deep cleaning of the home during treatment. We hired a cleaning company, and although they were lovely, we realized the level of detail our family needed went beyond the services they offered.

So I offered to do it myself.

Somewhere between wiping individual window blinds and dusting every lightbulb, I realized something: I didn't just enjoy cleaning. I loved the details.

That experience stayed with me. Eventually, I decided to turn something I genuinely love into a part-time business that could also provide extra support for my family. Carefully Cleaned Living grew from that idea.

For me, cleaning isn't just about making a space look tidy. It's about noticing the little things, taking pride in my work, and treating someone's home with genuine care.

Whether I'm helping a busy family with everyday upkeep or providing a detailed clean during a challenging season, my goal is to leave your home feeling not just cleaner, but truly cared for.
